it has slowly become an obsession of mine, mainly because it's poisonous and practically impossible to find. pennyroyal is supposed to have a sedative effect (as well as possibly aborting any fetuses you have lying around in your uterus<3). how something is poisonous and relaxing is rather intriguing. it's almost like a challenge: if you can even find the tea, drinking it might kill you. challenge accepted!
AND THIS WOULD BE MY TEAPOT FOR ALL MY PENNYROYAL NEEDS:
too bad it's almost a thousand dollars. otherwise it would be mine to fill with all my deadly teas!!
of course, the caveat to this being that i would only drink (after much research) a safe amount.
actually, what i'd really like to do is make a crazy calming tea, blending it with tulsi, kava or valerian, skullcap, chamomile, and st. john's wort.
